Dr. Lisa Merck is a distinguished professional dedicated to preventive wellness, aesthetics, longevity, and women's and men's healthcare needs. She has spearheaded our team in delivering exceptional treatments, and her expertise and dedication to client satisfaction have established a high benchmark for our services, positioning Society as the premier destination for luxury wellness and aesthetics. With over 27 years of nursing experience, she is also a reserve deputy coroner and a veteran of the US Air Force.  Lisa earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University in June 2026.  She is an entrepreneur at heart and has founded Sopris Women's Clinic & Fusion in Crested Butte and Gunnison, CO.  Lisa is co-owner and founder of Society Wellness and Med Spa in Crested Butte, CO, with her Twin Sister, Lori Mason.  Lisa also formulated a medical-grade skincare line for men, "G-Force," which launched in November 2025.

Lori Mason Cosmetologist serves as our lead clinical esthetician,  hair stylist and skincare consultant, possessing a comprehensive understanding of skin health, hair and beauty.

With over three decades of experience in the beauty industry, Lori brings a refined, results-driven approach to both hair artistry and medical aesthetics. After earning her cosmetology license in 1989, Lori advanced her training at the Aveda Academy in Los Angeles and further cultivated her expertise under the mentorship of a distinguished European educator, specializing in precision haircutting, facial structure, and bespoke style design.

 

Loris career has taken her to luxury resort settings in Hawaii, where she worked with high-end clientele and managed a spa environment rooted in exceptional service and attention to detail. These experiences shaped her signature approach—creating tailored, sophisticated results that complement each client’s natural features, lifestyle, and desired level of maintenance.

 

In addition to her extensive background in hair, Lori holds special certifications in Botox with the Allergan Medical Institute and in medical-grade chemical peels, and ear piercing, along with specialized cadaver-based training in facial injection techniques. This advanced education allows Lori to approach medical aesthetics with both clinical precision and an artistic eye.

 

Today, Lori offers a curated blend of services, from expert precision haircuts to advanced aesthetic treatments including facials, Botox, and chemical peels. Lori is known for her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to natural, refined results.  Loris goal is to enhance your confidence while delivering an elevated, personalized experience.

Lori also thrives as an entrepreneur, owning multiple businesses in Crested Butte, including Bella Voi Hair Salon, and working as an independent real estate broker while flipping houses.

Kelley is our dedicated Practice Manager at Society.  Kelley has a passion for luxury care and pampering at our med spa.  She delivers quality care in a respectful manner.  Kelley also assists the advanced practice registered nurses and health care staff with intakes, supplemental oxygen, injections, vital signs and clinical assistant duties.  Kelley is under the direct supervision of Lisa Merck, APRN.

Dr Kandu Sherpa is a dedicated clinician and wellness consultant, specializing in primary care, weight loss, IV drips and also works in a MAT clinic.  She provides guidance on well-being and skin rejuvenation.   With certifications in BOTOX, Plasma Pen, and medical-grade chemical peels, Kandu is instrumental in developing personalized plans for our clients. Her commitment to promoting health has been essential to our clients' journeys for a healthy balance.   

 

Kandu has trained at the Allergan Medical Institute and has multiple certifications in health care and aesthetics.  She brings extensive knowledge in Botox, skin rejuvenation, and medical-grade skincare.

Evelyn is a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for aesthetics, facials, and wellness.   She pays special attention to detail and is enthusiastic about skincare and rejuvenation. She has special certification in Medium Grade Medical Peels and Microneedling.  Evelyn graduated with her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of the Incarnate Word.  Evelyn is committed to help her clients achieve healthy, radiant skin and feel their absolute best. She is skilled in various treatments, including facials, dermaplaning, microneedling, microdermabrasion, IV hydration, and wellness therapies.  Evelyn works under the direct supervision of Merck, APRN and is currently pursuing her master's degree in nursing at this time as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
